Poor Education System: Vast Change Needed

Before discussing this topic, I have two questions to ask.

First, Why a country need 100% literacy or all educated citizens ?
And second, Why you want to be a educated person ?

There is a big difference in these two answers. The answer of first question given by most of people "so that the educated citizan can contribute towards the growth of society or country; So that a person can broad his thinking to make country a better place" definitely you have your own answer for it. OK now be ready for the U turn. Answer of second question when asked to school going children, Most of them having answer "Because we want to earn lot of money"

I was stunned. Our coming generation view is so focused and narrow. They have no concern to society or country. They have no role models. There only aim is to be millionaire/billionaire.

With this thinking, They do analysis of the market to see, "which is more money oriented occupation like doctor, engineer, lawyer etc." At most of the time, this survey was done by there parents, grand parents or other members of family. Since his childhood, he was taught that he has to earn a lot of money for himself and his family which makes students more and more focused towards money. If our society is building such a poor foundation for these child. What kind of distribution to society or country we can expect from these children. In other words, we can say our education system is just teaching the ways of making money. This is the first bug and most critical bug in our education system.

Second major bug in our education system is teachers and school management. Teachers concentrate their all energies on the syllabus. And management has put their all energy into multiplying profits. Teachers just concentrate to complete syllabus on theory basis. They never encourage the students to think beyond syllabus. I have met many of the ladies teachers, who have justified there teaching job by saying "We can not pass our time at home; so doing teaching job" Hence they are teaching for their time pass. Not as a social responsibility to produce best students. Definitely we can not expect much from this time pass system. Also a big irony, a teacher's dignity in our modern society is quite low as compare to doctor, engineer or lawyer. The worst chapter is still to mention; Management staff never feel any social responsibility. They have turned schools into business organizations. I feel very sad when I hear about "Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan" The best approach with worst implementation.

Third major bug, our education system does not make a student mentally strong to withstand in this cut throat competition. One question: Why suicide rate, depression patients has been increased exponentially.? Because our education system tells the ways to earn money; But it does not prepare the students to manage the up and down of life. In last decade, competition has been increased by multiple folds. But our education system was not updated as per this market trend. I strongly favor of including motivational classes in education system which should be treated as much priority as given to math and science now. In the childhood, the foundation should be prepared in such a way that he can treat his all life challenges on his front foot. Only than we can have more young generation who can contribute towards the country success.

Your Mind: Resemblance with your PC Processor

 After reading this article, you can understand that meditation is not the tool for sagas and fakirs. It is very meaningful for a common people. A person can live his life in a more efficient way and can face his challenges of life in a peaceful way.

Fine, Our mind is the like a processor. I hope you are familiar with computer processor. It is same with that except It is having very very strong processing capability as compare to computer processor. As you know if there is a big load on computer processor; PC becomes slow and eventually it stop functioning and it hangs. Than we have to reboot the computer. If we are wise enough, We can stop the particular process which is increasing the load of processor from task manager of window.

This is exactly same with Mind processor. In daily life, all of us are surrounded with multiple complex problems, It is like putting more and more load on mind processor. And this may be the reason that people are suffering from depression, anxiety, stress etc because they have over burden their processor. Unluckily, Those people are going towards processor hang state. If not given treatment in a proper direction.

But question arises, Today's era is full of competition, to withstand in this competition, we should be mentally strong. We should be mentally strong only if your mind processor capability is strong. And that is possible only if you can distinguish the processes which are overburdening your mind and you are capable enough to close them. Friends, Here I am trying to open all this secrets in this blog. Also I am waiting for your comments for it.

Again, If we quickly analyze, when a PC processor overburden ? As a common experience if we open multiple complex programs/process in parallel; PC becomes slow. Similarly if we open multiple complex life problems simultaneously, we overburden our mind processor and it becomes slow in the form of stress. So question arises how can we deal such situations of life..? I will answer this question in my next blog.
